We bring together young people across Europe through non-formal education, democratic participation, media literacy and intercultural learning — building active citizens for a better future.
NextGen Europa e.V. was established in November 2025 by a group of experienced youth workers and project coordinators with deep roots in Erasmus+ exchanges, training courses and international cooperation.
"We realised the need to create a new organisation that builds on existing knowledge and networks, while responding to the current challenges young people face across Europe."
We work primarily with young people — including those with fewer opportunities and from marginalised backgrounds — using inclusive methods, peer learning and safe-space approaches. Our goal is to create environments where every participant feels respected, included and motivated to grow.
As an Erasmus+ accredited organisation (OID: E10415700), we combine fresh motivation with the strong experience of our founding team to deliver high-quality, inclusive youth mobility projects.
Six interconnected themes guide all of our projects, workshops and activities — each one chosen because it matters for young people's futures today.
Workshops, simulations and discussions that help young people understand decision-making processes and see themselves as active citizens with a real voice.
Supporting young people to think critically about media content, recognise misinformation and make conscious, healthy choices in digital spaces.
Promoting European values, intercultural dialogue and understanding of the EU — so young people feel part of a shared European story.
Encouraging participation, inclusion, active citizenship and social engagement at local and European level in line with EU Youth Goals and priorities.
Using digital tools for creative expression, learning, communication and youth-led initiatives — empowering young people to build and create, not just consume.
Adapting activities and methods to ensure equal access and meaningful participation for young people facing social, economic and educational barriers.
Our activities are rooted in non-formal education, experiential learning and youth-centred approaches — where young people shape the process, not just attend it.
Interactive sessions using discussions, simulations and group tasks to build understanding of democratic processes and active citizenship.
Developing critical thinking around online content, risks and digital tools — helping young people become responsible digital citizens.
Adapted methods and peer-learning environments that actively involve young people with fewer opportunities.
Activities promoting dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding among young people from different cultural and national backgrounds.
Supporting young people to express ideas and turn them into concrete community actions and local projects.
Integrating sustainability topics through reflection activities, creative workshops and eco-friendly practices.
